Behind The Cardio Exercise Machine

 

The heart is like a person. The muscles should be strengthened so that it can perform physical tasks. Now, since the heart is the organ responsible for pumping blood through the body’s system so it should be exposed to different cardio workouts through different training set.

There are plenty of machines and devices available in your local gym and sports shop. The treadmill is a long time. It has a rotating belt that allows you to walk, jog, run your way to a healthy heart.

A modified version of the treadmill is the elliptical machine. To ride a platform and swing your legs back and forth to get the desired heart rate for proper conditioning. It has the added advantage of not putting your joints under wear situations.

Climbing a stairway to trigger your heart to pump faster. This is replicated by a machine called the stair climber. This may pose a more challenging exercise compared to conventional treadmill and elliptical machine.

You can ride your way to a strong heart using stationary cycles. There are recumbent models that will allow you also have a more relaxed position and thus prevent lower back strain. Rowing machines are also present in gyms, which allows you to increase your cardiovascular capacity by simulating rowing boat.

You have become familiar with the cardio machines that are involved in formal classes, but you know how these contraptions really affect how your heart? Routines performed on these machines increase the strength and conditioning of your heart by raising your heart rate for a given period. Actually, it is the large muscle groups in the work that really tell your heart to make additional pumps. Each activity of these muscles demand increased oxygen supply and the only way to deliver this oxygen requirement is to deliver more blood to the muscles.

Now that you have a clearer physiological, we go to the factors that will influence your selection of cardio machine. You have to build some sort of enjoying the machine. You will not be productive if you do not enjoy the company of the equipment. At this point your efforts are useless and you do not get maximum benefit.

You must decide if you have a condition which only becomes excessive when you perform your routines on a machine. If you have joint problems in the lower limbs when the treadmill might not work to your advantage. You have an office job and you remain idle in your position throughout the day on which the stationary bike will not meet your needs.

Another thing to look at when dealing with computers is the actual time you spend on it. You have to assign a good five to ten minutes warm-up before you go to your current routine to ensure that the intensity levels are kept low. Afterwards you can go to training that can be 20-60 minutes, depending mainly on what you prefer. You close the deal with five to ten minutes of low intensity warm-down time. Machine usage should be planned three to five times weekly.

If you plan to participate in fitness training, it is not enough that you know the machine. What is more important is that you are aware of the physiological processes that occur in each routine. A good assessment of what you need and should be avoided is a plus.
